Student club/organization: Grass Roots Youth Summit

Start/end date: 2018 ~ 2019

Description of project: We are currently in the midst of planning our very first Grass Roots event in February.

Purpose: The Youth Summit will be a convergence of student environmental leaders from different schools, where we will be able to collaboratively design and commit to realistic and tangible environmental resolutions for the upcoming year. On top of that, we'll have critical leadership workshops, guest NGO experts and speakers, and direct bridging with global opportunities to support all of us in this huge step forward.

Process of launch: You do not have to have experience in events organization, only that you can commit up to 2 hours every week (1 for Skype/face-to-face meetings, 1 for follow-up work).

WHO: Passionate, hard-working, organized students, especially those currently in 10th grade (rising 11th graders) and below. That includes Middle School as well! In an Educator Advisor, we're looking for a critical and constructive perspective to bring to all of our work.
